Derby's a thriving city with loads going on, but it's not too big to be overwhelming just over 200,000 people live here.
It's at the very heart of Britain and has the best of both worlds it's a vibrant, contemporary city which still holds on to its ancient heritage.
There's also some fantastic surrounding countryside in Derbyshire and the Peak District.
Around 3 billion will be invested in the City by 2020 so it's definitely up and coming.
